West Texas Winter

A few weeks ago, we took a mini camping trip to Lake Allen B Henry.  I am always keen to check out lakes and rivers within a 2 hour drive of Midland.  There aren't many.

I was impressed with the size of the lake.  Most lakes in this area of Texas are at very low levels, so it was nice to see a big expanse of choppy water.  We could only see one arm of the lake from our camping spot, so we headed to the boat docks where we bounced around for a while.

In other January news...

Mary likes her Easy Bake Oven.  The product is edible.

It snowed!

A little.

Animal Hospital was a success.
Our dogs have a hard time distinguishing between Mary's toys and theirs.

We went to see the high school production of Annie, and were impressed with the talent.

Mary started wearing a sleepmask to bed.  I find it kinda creepy.

Mary helped install the new dryer.  This one has more settings than "shrink all your clothes".

We attended Science Night at the museum; Under the Sea

We cancelled gym membership and bought an elliptical, much to Mary's delight.

Looks like fun at Lake Allen B Henry! I didn't know Mary had an Easy Bake Oven, we could have sample her baking.
